Moshe Sinaie, D.P.M.


Dr. Sinaie is the founder and CEO of Bakersfield Foot and Ankle Surgeons and former CEO of California Foot Doctors. After graduating medical school he completed four years of training in Foot and Ankle Reconstuctive Surgery and Trauma at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

He has published multiple articles in national publications and holds numerous patents on foot and ankle inventions to date. He is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified for foot surgery through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). The ABPS is the only officially recognized podiatric surgical board by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children as well as judo, kayaking and camping. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, Farsi, and Arabic.

After graduating from residency as Chief Resident he worked in an orthopedic surgery group in Manhattan before relocating to Bakersfield. He and Dr. Jex began Bakersfield Foot and Ankle Surgeons in August of 2008.

 

 

Craig T. Jex, D.P.M.


After graduating number one in his class as the valedictorian Dr. Jex completed a 3 year residency in Detroit, Michigan in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Traumatology. He practiced in the upper peninsula of Michigan for 3 years following residency before deciding to join Dr. Sinaie in practice in Bakersfield.

He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery and in Rear foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Jex enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children as well as outdoor activities and college sports. He is fluent in English, Dutch, and semi-fluent in Spanish.

 

 

Marshall Shieh , D.P.M.

Dr. Shieh
Doctor Shieh is the newest member of the team. He is a recent graduate of a 3 year surgical program at University Medical Dental New Jersey, a level one trauma hospital. After his residency, Dr. Shieh did a one year fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation under the tutalage of the esteemed Dr. Amol Saxena, DPM. During his fellowship he learned some of the newest techniques in arthroscopy as well as sports related injuries Aside from being surgically trained, he also has strong interests in both bio-mechanics and wound care.
He is most excited about being back in the central valley where he grew up.

He is fluent in English and has a conversational capacity for Mandarin Chinese.

 

Dr. Sinaie, Dr. Jex, and Dr. Shieh specialize in diabetic preventative foot care and diabetic limb salvage, foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, trauma of the foot and ankle and office procedures for more simple foot problems.
